Get To Know - Francesca Caruso

May 5, 2022

Francesca joined Forensic Risk Alliance in November 2021 as a Forensic Accounting Associate in our New York office. We sat down with her to see how she is finding life at FRA so far.

What is the most enjoyable part of working for FRA and why?

I would have to say the people and the opportunity to learn from everyone without a doubt. Everyone I have had the chance to meet and/or work with is incredibly intelligent and kind. I have learned a great deal about the industry and other related topics, as there is no shortage of people who are more than happy to share their knowledge and experience.

What attracted you to join FRA?

What attracted me to join FRA was the ability to leverage the skills I had from my prior experience, and develop and expand on that knowledge in a different environment. The variety of work and case studies that FRA has done were very interesting to me. Prior to FRA, I worked as an auditing associate, which was much more routine in comparison. FRA seemed like a place I could grow with both professionally and personally.

What would you be if not your career now?

It would have been a very different path to accounting. Before deciding on becoming an accountant, I was planning to go to medical school with the aim of becoming a neurosurgeon. I was fascinated by the capabilities and intricacies of the human body, particularly the concept of neuroplasticity and other functions of the brain.
