Biography
Victoria is a Chartered Accountant leveraging over 20 years of experience in forensic accounting, disputes, and investigations. She brings a wealth of expertise in contractual disputes, professional indemnity claims, loss of profit claims, post-acquisition disputes, contentious valuations, fraud investigations, contentious insolvency, and asset tracing.
Specializing in commercial disputes, Victoria offers expert witness and advisory services to clients involved in litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution. Her case experience spans multiple industries, including transport and infrastructure, energy, professional services, telecommunications, manufacturing, real estate, and retail. Much of her career has involved cross-border matters, particularly in Africa.
Victoria has served as an expert witness and provided testimony before the High Court in London. Prior to joining FRA, she was a Senior Director in the Expert Services team at Kroll Advisory Ltd. Victoria also previously held the role of Senior Investigator at the Serious Fraud Office.
Representative experience includes:
- Expert witness in a dispute before the High Court in London concerning allegations of theft and false accounting in an investment property group
- Expert witness in a partnership dispute quantifying the profit share due to an equity partner on exiting a law firm
- Expert advisor to a specialist marketing company assessing business interruption losses suffered as a result of a flood
- Expert advisor to the Chief Financial Officer of an AIM listed company advising on the nature of accounting and other financial data in relation to an FCA investigation of market abuse allegations
- Quantified loss of profits and wasted costs claimed in an international arbitration concerning closure of a fast-food franchise
Victoria holds a Master of Arts in Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge. She is an accredited Counter Fraud Technician (University of Portsmouth) and earned the Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence (APAEWE) in 2023.
