FRA expands disputes and arbitration expert team with new director

29 January 2025 – Forensic Risk Alliance (FRA) is pleased to welcome Victoria Richards as a Director in the Forensic Accounting team, specializing in commercial disputes involving complex financial and accounting matters and valuations. With over 20 years of disputes and investigations experience, her expertise strengthens FRA’s offering of expert witness and advisory services to global clients involved in litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution.  

Victoria brings a wealth of expertise in contractual disputes, professional indemnity claims, loss of profit claims, post-acquisition disputes, contentious valuations, fraud investigations, contentious insolvency, and asset tracing. She is highly experienced across various dispute resolution forums, including litigation, arbitration, mediation and expert determination.  Victoria has been appointed as an expert witness in a matter before the High Court in London, among several other expert appointments (read more here).  

Having led engagements across major jurisdictions and emerging markets, including Africa in particular, Victoria’s global track record complements FRA’s unique specialization in cross-border matters. Her case experience spans multiple industries, including transport and infrastructure, energy, professional services, telecommunications, manufacturing, real estate, and retail.  

Victoria received the Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence (APAEWE) in 2023 and is an accredited Counter Fraud Technician. Prior to FRA, she was previously a Senior Investigator at the UK Serious Fraud Office (SFO) and has held senior positions at Kroll Advisory and BDO LLP.
