Forensic Risk Alliance Partners with Knovos to Expand eDiscovery and Data Management Offerings for Global Clients

November 12, 2020

12 November 2020, LONDON: Forensic Risk Alliance (FRA), a leading forensic accounting, data governance, technology solutions and forensics consulting firm today announced a global partnership with Knovos, a leading technology software company developing solutions to solve today's data management challenges.

FRA is launching Knovos' eDiscovery and data management technology, eZReview, within its solutions offerings for Data Governance, eDiscovery and Forensics global practice, which will allow the data forensics experts and advisory consultant teams to more accurately and effectively conduct early case assessment, offer clients enhanced data insights, provide advanced analytics, manage complex data processing, and simplify document review and analysis. FRA is the first consulting firm to have a global partnership with Knovos to provide eZReview in the US, France and the UK. FRA will be providing eZReview to US clients starting December 1, 2020, and to clients in the United Kingdom and France from January 2021. FRA will also continue to offer Relativity.

Designed for use in large-scale cross-border litigations, investigations, mergers and acquisitions, and second requests, among others, where discovery of data including processing, review, analysis, production is required, Knovos' eZReview technology provides a more advanced and comprehensive end-to-end solution than existing industry-standard eDiscovery software. Knovos eZReview will enable the FRA clients to have a complete control over their projects with a centrally managed, single-dashboard solution that eliminates the need for multiple products and complex integrations. Unlike traditional eDiscovery technology solutions, eZReview is the only solution to leverage automation in TAR 1.0 and 2.0, and continuous active learning (CAL) to reduce the number of documents that need to be reviewed, and therefore the resources needed to operate and support the eDiscovery data management cycle, resulting in cost savings and increased efficiencies. The software uses a customized analytics engine built to mine data for key concepts, patterns, and intelligence - including clustering, email threading, domain analysis, communication analysis, near dup identification, and key phrases - to identify the most relevant information, and deliver strategic insights needed in successfully navigating a review or investigation processes. It also provides integrated audit and reporting,

"FRA has extensively researched and tested eZReview and is thrilled to be the first consultancy offering this product in the US, France, the UK and European markets," said Frances McLeod, Founding Partner and Head of its Data Governance, Technology Solutions and Forensics practice. "We are deeply committed to identifying the best technology solutions to benefit our clients, which is why we recently launched our new think tank, FRA Pulse, to test and develop such products alongside technology entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. It is clear to us that eZReview is the most advanced and innovative eDiscovery and data management solution available today. We see tremendous value in its single-platform approach, early case assessment, TAR, processing and production, document review and analysis, and analytics, and are looking forward to delivering this value to our clients."

"FRA's dedication to technology diversity and research is unlike any other company in the space," said Dharmesh Shingala, CEO of Knovos. "Partnering with FRA's Data Governance, Technology Solutions and Forensic global team members to deploy the enterprise application of our product is an exciting step for Knovos, which will expand our reach to help FRA's global clientele. We are confident that eZReview will not only make eDiscovery and data management process easier, but will also result in significant efficiencies for its clients in the course of investigations and other high-stakes legal matters. FRA has been on our radar for many years, I am particularly excited to work with its Data Governance Technology Solutions and Forensics leader, Frances McLeod."
