In an effort to use FRA’s expertise to help build equity in our communities, a global team of FRA professionals has set out to help young people learn the importance of identity protection and financial literacy. Our Financial Literacy Program has been delivered to over 200 students from the George Washington Carver High School of Engineering and Science in Philadelphia. After consulting on what aspect of financial literacy would be of most value for us to focus on, our program was designed to explore the importance of Personal Identifiable Information, common methods of identity theft focused on young adults, and practical tips. We are excited to expand the reach of this initiative to other schools in our communities in 2023. Do contact us if you are interested in collaborating in this effort or know of a school that might be interested.
