Aeriel Davis is a Senior Associate in FRA's Forensic Accounting practice and is based in Dallas, TX. Aeriel's experience includes litigation support, data analysis, and investigations related to financial reporting fraud.
We recently sat down with Aeriel to talk about her time with FRA and how she came to join.
"I was initially attracted to FRA because I had coworkers in my previous company that I respected and liked that left to join FRA. During my interviews, I spoke to a variety of individuals who were open and welcoming, reiterating my interest and confirming that I was making a great decision to join. I am happy to say that I can still say the same today.
"FRA is very diverse and it is clear that leadership has fostered a culture of inclusiveness. Their acceptance and enthusiasm for different backgrounds presents ample opportunities to take advantage of my unique skills and innovative ideas.
"I appreciate that there are multiple women in FRA's Forensic Accounting leadership. It is inspiring as a woman who is developing her career as a forensic accountant not only to see that so many women in this field have achieved success and recognition, but that they have done so with FRA. Knowing this, I feel that I am continuously challenged to develop my knowledge and experience in forensic accounting, and I am able to take advantage of the invaluable mentorship these women provide.
"The most fun and dynamic experience I've had so far with FRA was working on the forensic investigation supporting the Airbus settlement. Prior to the project, I had not done much international travel, and I had the chance to spend several months working abroad in London and Paris. I worked alongside highly-skilled forensic accountants and data analysts, addressing analytical challenges, not only developing strong and trusting professional relationships, but also long-lasting friendships with my colleagues from overseas."
