Forensic Risk Alliance (FRA) Integrates Middle East and Africa Practice With the Arrival of FRA Seasoned Partner
FRA Partner Simon Taylor moves to Dubai to head up FRA Middle East office, consolidating the firm’s one-firm collaborative ethos in the MEA region.
31 October 2023, Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Forensic Risk Alliance (FRA), an international investigations consultancy specialising in complex investigations, compliance and disputes, is excited to announce the arrival of long-serving FRA Partner, Simon Taylor, to the firm’s MEA office in DIFC, Dubai.
Simon, newly appointed Head of MEA, brings invaluable experience and insight from over 20 years in white collar investigations, financial crime and regulatory enquiries that we are pleased to be able to offer to our clients within the region. Simon has worked on many matters involving the major global prosecutors and regulators including the SFO, DOJ, PNF and AFA across a range of FRA’s numerous high profile cases including the landmark Airbus settlement.
Simon’s expertise in internal investigations, as well as compliance, corporate governance, and complex compliance related risk assessments will reinforce the firm’s expected client service excellence to our existing engagements in the MEA region as well as new opportunities, via the firm’s one-firm, integrated culture.
Simon, who has been working closely with our MEA office since its launch in January 2022 will now lead our existing Dubai team which includes, Director Amina Khoungui, Associate Director Temi Labor, Manager Abhishek Nandan and Associate Christophe Sebaaly as well as secondees from the FRA London office Senior Associate, Shivam Patel and Associate, Sam Ouerfelli who join the team from 1 December. The team are also being supported by FRA European Partners Trevor Wiles, London and Yousr Khalil, Paris who have both practised extensively in Middle East region on high-profile matters.
FRA Dubai is a key office for the firm. Simon’s leadership, experience, and knowledge of the Middle East market, will give our clients valuable insight when navigating regulatory proceedings. His appointment also allows us to continue to build a strong and local footprint in a region.

Simon is a dual qualified lawyer (solicitor and barrister) and was previously head of Weil Gotshal & Manges London White Collar practice.
